The Fright Factory For iPhone & iPod Touch
We are proud to introduce The Fright Factory for iPhone and iPod Touch. This is the first of what will be our large selection of applications for the iTunes App Store. While it is not only geared towards Halloween, it is the perfect time for a release. We are into scaring people and think that any time of the year is a good time for a scare.
Most other apps that we've seen on the App Store only have one main function. Some of them may have an illusion scare, some may offer a soundboard and others offer only a strobe light. We wanted to incorporate all of these features in one app. So The Fright Factory features a spooky soundboard, frightening illusion scare, sound activated scare (iPhone version only) and a strobe light. All of these features are also highly customizable.
The soundboard has twelve sound effects and four background tracks. You can use it for telling ghost stories, freaking out your friends and family, while trick-or-treating or hook it up to your stereo for the full experience. With the illusion scare you start that portion of the app and hand it off to a friend. They go through several optical illusions before being scared by a scream and a zombie face. Just make sure they don't throw your device. The iPhone version features a sound activated scare. You can place your iPhone in a room you expect someone to go into. When they make a noise it will play one of five custom screams. Finally with the highly customizable strobe light you can use it to make an instant haunted house among other things. Choose a light color, speed and background music for the perfect effect.
